Owner/Appraiser, William M. (Bill) Hardy, has been in the real estate appraisal profession since 1992 when Bill joined a real estate appraisal firm in Selma, AL as a Trainee Appraiser. In 1994 Bill successfully met all of the requirements set forth by the Alabama Real Estate Appraisers Board and was designated as a Certified Residential Real Property Appraiser (License #: R00128).
Bill is a 1986 graduate of John T. Morgan Academy (College Prep School, Selma, AL) and 1991 graduate of Auburn Univeristy (Auburn, AL) with a Bachelors degree (B.S.) in Agriculture Business & Economics. As of today Bill has completed 359 classroom hours of pre-license and continuing education in real estate appraisal.
In the late 90’s, Bill was the Chief Appraiser for the Dallas County, AL Tax Assessors Office. While working for Dallas County, Bill was responsible for appraising and evaluating residential, commercial, and agricultural property in a county with 27,000+ parcels of real property for ad valorem purposes.
Bill has been self-employed as an independent fee appraiser (doing business as Hardy Appraisal Service) since 1999. From 1999 to 2007, Hardy Appraisal Service operated from an office in Selma, AL (Dallas County). From 2007 to the present, Hardy Appraisal Service operates from an office in Auburn, AL (Lee County).
